Current Project: Ruffly Purple Scarf

I am currently working on a scarf that is made out of joined circles. I am using a Bernat brand yarn that is positively awesome to work with! I am almost done with the ruffle circles, only about three more to go! (out of ten, I think...) I will post pictures when I finish the circles. Depending on how the scarf itself comes out, I will post the pattern. I am off now to go finish the circles.

Giant Cookie... =)

Just a few days ago, I had the desire to eat something sweet, then after a few minutes of searching, I found that there was nothing to fulfill my craving, so I came up with this delicious monster:

Giant, huh?
It is a foot in diameter! It is made with a simple chocolate chip cookie recipe, then rolled out onto a pizza stone. To eat it, we even cut it into pizza shaped slices. Yummy and craving satisfied!

About Me!

I am a junior at Florida State University. I enjoy crafting to keep myself sane and recharge my batteries. I enjoy doing a variety of crafts including crochet, knitting, jewelry making, sewing, and scrap booking.
I am studying Elementary Education with hopes of teaching the second grade sometime in the future. I look forward to teaching through activities and hands on learning.
This blog will mainly focus on crafty topics, but expect some creative cooking posts as well!
